Larry Miller

A Great Night of Rockin' Blues
Music

Top blues rocker Larry Miller and his band make a welcome return to Letchworth Arts Centre. Larry is one of Britain’s most acclaimed rockin’ blues guitarists, whose legendary performances have won him acclaim around the world.

"Mesmerising" and "world class" are just some of the terms used to describe him.

He has been performing his brand of powerhouse blues-rock since the early 1980s, and is compared today to Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, and Alvin Lee.

Miller picked up his first guitar at the age of seven and spent seven years studying violin at the Surrey County School of Music before deciding to concentrate on his first love.

After buying his "Larryocaster" Strat, he began gigging with seasoned professionals in the south of England before forming his own band. Before long he was writing his own material and performing alongside artists as diverse as Peter Green, Ian Gillan and Walter Trout at venues such as the Reading Festival and the Massive Bulldog Bash.

In the US, Bluesrockers describes him as a "fantastic, world class guitarist"; while the Guardian has called his band "the best in yer face rock band around" and Larry "a blues rock powerhouse".
