Because Life is Complicated Enough

 Kate Burgess uses paint and print to create pictures that are colourful and humorous, and has also been painting murals in children´s rooms.

She studied for a degree in Art and Design at the University of Hertfordshire, where she specialised in automata, and has experimented with many different kinds of media and ways of working, using print, paint, collage and found objects. She has recently gone back to life drawing as well as learning etching. She is happy to take on commissions.
