Pebble tree adds new life to the Wynd

The entrance to the Wynd from Leys Avenue has been marked by a stunning mosaic: the life-sized pebble tree created by local children in a series of workshops at the Arts Centre over the summer.

LALG groups at the Arts Centre

We have been delighted to welcome more groups from the Letchworth Arts and Leisure Group to the Arts Centre with the impending temporary closure of Plinston Hall pending its refurbishment. LALG is a terrific umbrella organisation spanning a massive range of leisure activities. You can read more about those groups meeting at the Arts Centre here.

Live theatre

We are Letchworth's only regular theatre venue, presenting high class performances of touring productions. Check out what's coming; click the theatre item on the events link at the top of the page.

Visiting Us

The entrance to the Arts Centre is in the Arcade, just off Leys Avenue, with stairs or a lift to the first floor.

The Arts Centre and exhibition galleries are open Mondays to Fridays 10.00 am to 5.00 pm; Saturdays 10.00 am to 3.00 pm.
The Arts Cafe is open from Monday to Saturday, 10.00 am to 3.30 pm.

Membership

You can become a member of the Arts Centre for only £10 per year per family. Members receive regular invitations to special events such as exhibition private views; have priority booking for events; and receive discounts on events and courses.

Volunteers also play a huge part in the running of the Arts Centre, and we are always looking for people who can spare some of their valuable time to help.
